The learning opportunity

Why Australia / Queensland?

Queensland provides a setting for examining how a resource-based economy can develop new capabilities around technology, entrepreneurship and energy transition. The executive learning agenda connects industrial assets with questions about future sources of value.

Programs can explore the relationship between research, investment and practical application, alongside the demands of operating within Asia-Pacific markets. Rather than assuming that new technologies automatically produce new industries, participants examine the commercial and organizational conditions needed to make that transition.

We work with senior local partners to develop a focused route. The locations, conversations and visits are selected around the brief, with particular attention to the distance between destinations and the time needed for meaningful learning.

Planning your immersion

Who is this program for?

Energy and resources executives, innovation leaders and business school cohorts exploring industrial transition. We adapt the content, pace and level of discussion to each group.

How long is a typical study trip?

Our programs typically run for one to two weeks. A more focused format can be considered when it serves the objectives. We agree on duration, destinations and the balance of sessions together.

Can we request specific companies or speakers?

Yes. We assess each request for relevance and feasibility, then confirm the proposed hosts and access during program design. The agenda is never based on an unconfirmed promise of access.
